You can change it based on the installation manual given.
Yes, you still need to pedal, and so are a genuine form of exercise.
Making a cycle is the most crucial step. You should repeat the process of charging up to 90%, discharging to 20%.Make sure you do 1 charge-discharge cycle on the battery at least once 3 month and avoid leaving it idle for too long.
No, but they are water-resistant. Don’t get confused between these two; waterproof means water is literally incapable of passing through an object, whereas water-resistant means it’s harder for water to pass through an object but not impossible.
Changing the front wheel is very similar to changing the front wheel on a regular bicycle. In contrast, when changing the rear wheel, you need to disconnect and reconnect the motor cables. I won't go into great depth here, but if you need help, our support team can provide you with instructional tutorials :)
I would recommend checking where the motor is placed. The riding experience is simply better with e-bikes that have motors mounted in the center or at the end.
The way you use the battery could have a huge impact. The battery should be capable of lasting for a few years, which is longer than the warranty. There shouldn't be any concern about it because it is replaceable and available from us, much like other electrical parts.
You’ll probably bring your bike in a few times a year for servicing and repairs, so it is a good idea to find out about Timewalker’s policy when it comes to providing these services. You should also find out what the manufacturer’s warranty covers and if the shop will help you navigate the warranty process or whether you’ll be on your own.
E-bikes are, essentially, a normal push bike with a motor. It relies on three key components: the motor, which gives you a boost as you ride (many e-bikes use pedal assist, where the motor is only active while you’re pedalling), the battery, which obviously powers the motor, and the sensor, which engages the motor once you’ve started cycling.
Yes, they are eco-friendly. They don’t release any unhealthy gases and their batteries can be recycled. Certainly, using an e-bike instead of driving is a greener option, anyway, considering the carbon emissions a car releases.
If you intend to ride your bike for commuting, you should buy a water bottle, backpack, or panniers (bags on either side of the rear wheel) to carry your belongings securely. If your bike doesn’t come equipped with these features, you can also purchase them as accessories.
